A Family Field Guide
Let us help you take the guess work out of forming an educational co-op for homeschooling families in your community! We've spent years cultivating the perfect instruction manual to help you hit the ground running. Our program has three main foundational goals that we strive to help you achieve.
The first is supplemental education for your children in a group setting using the natural world as a template. You'll take a hands-on, integrative approach and while many of the lessons are rooted in biology and earth science, you'll find the use of many modalities including good literature, art, writing, and history to be incredibly expansive and demonstrative. Ultimately, we hope you'll educate through discussion (mind), experience (body), and observation (spirit).
The second, is that we want your children to have opportunities to play freely, uninhibitedly, in the wild. We want their minds to be unleashed with every breath of fresh air that fills their lungs, their imaginations set free, and their bodies physically exhausted with the work of play. Wild play in wild spaces. Mud is welcome here.
Our third goal is to help you create co-ops that support YOU, home school moms! A shoulder-to-cry-on/laugh-until-it-hurts sisterhood. A space designed to form lasting friendships that fill hearts with the security of knowing you are not alone and that you are loved. Kindred spirits indeed.
